IN STORE PURCHASE RETURN POLICY

jmichaels will exchange or refund any regular priced merchandise that is returned within 14 days of purchase when accompanied with an original receipt, or the merchandise is returned in its original condition.

Merchandise returned without an original receipt will be valued at the current selling price for an exchange or a store credit (gift card).

Sale items are exchange only. Items marked final sale on the receipt are not refundable or exchangeable. Please contact your local jmichaels for more details.

Price adjustment policy:

Within 7 days of purchase, on regular priced merchandise, one time price adjustment or when an original receipt accompanies product.

Reprinted receipts will not be accepted for returns. Merchandise that is returned due to a manufacture defect with an original receipt is eligible for a full refund or exchange. No refunds on intimates for hygienic reasons.

ONLINE PURCHASE RETURN POLICY

jmichaels stands behind the quality of our product and your satisfaction with it. If you are not satisfied with your order, you are welcome to return an item for a refund, preferably to your nearest jmichaels store. Goods purchased online can be refunded within 30 days of order provided they remain in new, unused condition and are returned complete. Customers wishing to return merchandise purchased online and who cannot visit a store may return goods directly to the online store by requesting an RA # via email. jmichaels will pay the shipping charges of returning defective merchandise to the online store on a case by case basis and only with our prior approval. Please email customerservice@jmichaels.net detailing the nature of the defective merchandise and we will send an email back giving you instructions. Non-defective merchandise can be returned or exchanged at any jmichaels store free of charge or sent back to the online store with a RA # at the customers expense.

All refunds will be given back using the same method of payment as was used in the original purchase. Goods bought with a Visa card will see that same Visa card credited back once the goods are received.

Please note that the following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift Cards
  • Intimate apparel (for hygienic reasons)
  • Special Occasion Dresses
  • Sale Items (exchange only)

Refund Steps

  1. Write customerservice@jmichaels.net giving a brief description of the problem and request an RA #. An authorization number, address label and instructions will be sent to you promptly.
  2. Indicate the product and quantity you are returning by circling the item number and writing the quantity being returned on the front of the packing slip found with your order
  3. Indicate the reason for the return (as shown below) beside the item number you are returning on the front of the packing slip:
    • Not suitable
    • Defective when received
    • Wrong item delivered
  4. Ensure tags are included with your re-packaged product(s).
  5. Include the completed packing slip with your product(s) and take to any UPS Store or call them to arrange pickup. Please note that any product(s) returned without a RA # cannot be processed by our Return Centre and will be returned to you.
  6. We will gladly refund all original shipping charges for items being returned due to our error.

How do I exchange a product I purchased online?

You may go to your nearest jmichaels location and exchange your item for any other in the store. You can also request a RA# and then re-buy the correct size of the item at www.jmichaels.ca.
